Ventolin:In clinical use it is indicated to treat bronchospasm in patients with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Ventolin should be used with particular attention to patients with creatinine clearance of 10 or less â25mL/min. In patients with renal failure it is recommended to use a loading dose of Ventolin of 10 to 20 mg/day for about 1 day. After this the patient may be increased to the next dose of 25 or 100 mg. Patients with severe hepatic impairment or renal failure should be treated with a dose of Ventolin 100 mg per day. The dose may be raised to a maximum dose of 200 mg or lowered to a dose dose of 30 mg/day.
